Meet Kathy
Welcome to
Freedom Steps Life Coaching
For many years I coached youth sports. Some players were more
naturally gifted than others but no matter the skill level, I
always tried to envision who the child was inside and create
more possibility than they ever imagined. I had three basic
rules for my players:
I
now bring these same philosophies to Freedom Steps Life
Coaching. I use prayer and Christian principles and provide an
easy-to-share atmosphere of humor while helping the client to
explore the full Potential they carry within themselves.
Life Coaching is not a career I always set out to pursue.
I earned a BS degree in Microbiology from Montana State
University and became a Medical Technologist. I now
reside in Cheyenne, WY with my husband of 22 years and our two
teenage children. I have worked in the medical field for over 20
years but its funny how our own aspirations seem to fade when God
calls us elsewhere. Since 1998, God has been directing
my steps in ways I never imagined. I am a writer, a dramatist
and I have participated in many Christian Women’s events
including appearing at Intimate Issues conferences
www.intimateissues.com. Life Coaching came into my life
quite by surprise and I now very much enjoy helping others while
witnessing the Holy Spirit work powerfully in their lives.
I
received my coaching certificate from the Institute for Life
Coach Training and I plan to continue my education to grasp even
more skills concerning the art of life coaching. I have ‘been
there’ in many areas of life and have taken my own Freedom Steps
toward personal health and spiritual growth by clinging to
God. I enjoy coaching women through any situation in which
they desire change and it is my prayer that any woman coached
will grow deeper in spiritual intimacy with Christ as they step
toward their goals. My coaching strengths include compassion,
encouragement, honesty and spiritual discernment and I will
boldly hold the client accountable while challenging her to move
forward toward her goal. Humor is mixed with spiritual depth to
tickle places in the heart that maybe have never been touched
before. I rely on the Spirit to help me ask the right questions
that will spark movement toward a woman’s God-given passion and
purpose.
-
Let your eyes look straight ahead
-
Fix your gaze directly before you
-
Make level paths for your feet
-
And take only ways that are firm
I
pray that Proverb 4:25,26 will become a reality in your life. I
look forward to getting to know you.
Many Blessings, Kathy
